Title: ADK A51 TL windscreens - inventory

There's not many tapers that own these amazing mics, and there's not much TS history of which 3rd party windscreens actually fit them.  Today, I just received a brand new set of Rode WS2 windscreens in the mail and I'm happy to report they fit my TL's perfectly.  Below I have begun a list of those confirmed as fitting.  Please reply of other windscreens that fit, but are not listed below.  I'll update this post as we go along.  Thanks!

Windscreens that fit the ADK A51 TL microphone:

Neumann WS 87 - $100/pair 
Neumann WS 89 - $100/pair
Windtech 20/421 -$64/pair
Rode WS2  - $40/pair

Prices above are 'retail' as of February 2020

I remember reading on here that a Shure set of foams would fit.

No idea which ones...  They seem to make a lot of different sizes though...

I spent the money on Neumann foams when I had my TLs...

Windtech 20/421 are the best ones Ive found. $32 a piece.

The Rode windscreens appear to be made of the same material as DPA's bigass UA0896.  During fitting, they come all the way down to the top of the ADK logo, just barely covering the switches.

Long time ADK fluffer here, bought my pair new in June of 2004.  I use the U87 WS.   I had my mother in law made me some furry covers for the real bad wind.  I'll add that if you are in need of replacement bands for the shock mounts, I have not found them anywhere for sale but if you contact ADK directly they usually will ship you some for free.  Love my TL's!   A few years back I fried my diaphragms in the rain and sent them in and had the C12 diaphragms installed, I really loved the sound.

Is ADK's C12 stock on the TL or just a special upgrade?
