220v to 110v
« on: July 16, 2011, 09:36:06 PM »

Just got a 220v amp from china (topping TP41)... after shipment they claim they do not have a 110v model available, and a no refund policy unless doa.

Well before I roll up on this guys ass, I am wondering if it would be less trouble to crack it open and convert it to 110v..
My question is should I find someone with the know-how and willing to do it, or is getting a power converter to step up 110 to 220 as good an option?

If anyone here knows how to switch it, I'd be happy to offer you the job.. just give me a bid.

  thanks !
