Loud bands like Metallica, Machine Head, Marilyn Manson ... prefered!

That would be nice!

Thanks!

ha! - i have some of classical piano and flute done in a studio setting with the 4061s, but i dont think that will help you much.  they are really nice mics, btw.  i've got pairs of schoeps, akg 480s, at4051s, akg 391s, and the dpa's - all do an excellent job in specific situations.  for example, a pianist i am working with right now (tracking in her studio where she has a 7'4" bosendorfer), just picked the 391s over my other mics.  the little DPAs do an outstanding job on all kinds of acoustic sources, and the interchangeable screeens allow them to be used effectively for close-micing, or for diffuse field work.  omnis just have a certain character that cards dont have, especially for close work, and for live work in great sounding spaces.

a master i did of bill laswell & jah wobble is still up on sharingthegroove.org.  it's not "hard rock" but it was plenty loud.  check into it.

i wish there were more bill laswell masters in circulation!
