not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but ADK is increasing their prices. I was told by sonic sense a few weeks ago that they thought ADK was raising their prices.....i was also told by a diff. vendor that i ended up buying my new TL's that a couple days after i bought them, the prices were raised. not sure how much they raised them, but thought i'd give everybody a heads up.

it's probably cyclical, the re-emergence of SARS, leads to deaths of prison workers, production goes down so costs go up!!

Yeah, Greg told me a few days after you bought them that you got the last pair of TL's at that price.

any idea how much higher...i know listing prices from vendors is out of the question, but anyone know aprx how much of an increase (% or $) and what retailers have not put it in place yet?

thats what i was thinking in relation to my first quote from WOTE. but could the increase be very much if they didnt even have to think about matching the SS quote?

WOTE said the MAP for the mics (b&k matched set) was 999. and thier original quote was 75 more then the old quote from Phil, and either 55 or 60 bucks higher than SS's quote then

maybe this was before they did the increase though

Greg from NewSoundCard.com (where i got my TL's from) emailed me the a week ago today and said that they raised the price $50 on TL's a day or so after he got my payment.

Just a tip, but somebody should call all over and find some retailer that purchased a set before the price increase and is willing not to screw you by charging the new price....there's got to be an old set left somewhere that was originally acquired by the retailer before the hike.
