Title: WTF now? Ghost file? (DR70 content)
Post by: lsd2525 on July 06, 2017, 09:22:00 PM
OK. 32 gig approved card in DR70. I think this may have happened when I ran out of power. I've seen posts about seeing files with 0 bytes and all, but what to you do when you know something is there and you gots no file???

I should have posted a snap of the file structure. Literally no files in the directory

if you enable hidden files in windows does anything show up?   have you tried Recuva?

I've had this happen in my DR-60 because of a power loss right at the end of a show. And I was able to make a full recovery of the files using Rescue Pro Deluxe.

I bought a valid code good for one computer for a year for it on fleabay for about $4 US.

I tried a bunch of freeware but none did the trick like this did. Good luck!

Jeez if it's like that, try ZAR on windows...

Zero-Assumption Recovery. It's worked for me.

What was the outcome of this?
I just had the same thing happen to me with a Tascam DR-2D

Thanks,
