just joined team ADK

though Im not selling the AKG's.  ;)

just placed my order for the ADK TL's and a Shure Vert bar.
should arrive just in time for 2 shows this weekend.

will run these MOTU828>DP3 until I get my tax return in Feb, then I have to decide between the MiniME or the V3

I allready have a standard t-bar, but with the weight of the TL's I figured a vert-bar would be better suited, plus the vert-bar gives me more options as far as M/S and X/Y

I went over to the ADK website and asked them if they could seel us shirts, or give us a logo we could use to make some...  I also found this, and find it amusing...

We don't use ADK "micorphones", we use ADK aerospace-technology, highly feature-laden, psychoacoustic digital and analog sonic-imaging devices.

Check the HemiHeads links off to the left and read the very bottom of the ad...

I used to keep in weekly contact with Larry Vilella, the owner of ADK. Not so much now as he has been extremely busy. I simply asked for a T-shirt and he sent me one. As well as a $40 polo shirt embroidered with the ADK logo, plus a couple of ADK ink pens!

I don't expect him to do this anymore as this was over a year ago and he is much more busy now. I miss the days of regularly talking with him.  :-[

Are you still in touch with him, maybe you can ask him to SELL us shirts...   I'm not sure, but if we told him we would be wearing them to advertise at shows where there are other tapers he might be hip to it...  Anything that makes more money for ADK will probably be of interest to him...

Whatever...  Maybe I'll make a Beavis and Butthead style ADK shirt with black magic marker...
