I don't really understand the bad rap Bluetooth audio gets. In its earlier days, yes it sounded like crap but once A2DP was implemented the quality made a significant jump up. I stream aptX Bluetooth from my phone to my car, and while it's not lossless, it's very good - good enough in fact that I can't tell the difference between it and a wired connection. That may also partially be a function of the DAC in my car's head unit being superior to the one in my phone.
Still waiting for aptX lossless to take off and be adopted on a wider basis:
