lens caps and sizing?
« on: September 08, 2008, 10:05:00 PM »
I have a 50 mm 1.8 Canon lens.  I usually have a hood on it.  It make for a pain in the butt to get the cap off the lens by squeezing the sides.  Was wanting to get one like this...

http://cgi.ebay.com/55mm-Canon-EOS-Snap-On-Front-Lens-Cap-E-55-E-55U-55-mm_W0QQitemZ310080365188QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item310080365188&_trkparms=72%3A1163%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

...with a center release.  But I can't find any lense cap for a 50mm.  Will the above work?  All I can find are 52mm and 55.  Thanks for any help!
