Title: Need a cable for a DAT
Post by: astrix on April 08, 2012, 09:35:40 PM
Here's my problem:  I have a Denon DTR-80P portabl DAT and I have lost the
digital in/out cord that came with the deck and would like to know how I can
find a replacement. The end that plugs into the deck is listed as a stereo mini-jack
0.5Vp-p Load impedance: 75 ohm and had 3 black rings on it.The other end was
split into 2 RCA plugs(one red,one white). Is this something I can find or have made?
Also,I was wondering what to look for in a similar cord with mini plug on both ends
with the 3 black rings. What will work for a digital connection. Thanks for any help
to a new guy with this matter.I know DAT is old stuff now,but I have tons of
masters I would like to transfer digitally if I can.
