RA BNCs?
« on: January 17, 2006, 07:48:03 PM »
Anyone played around with these?  Life would be helluvalot easier if I could get a RA BNC to RCA set up for the vms02ib.  Any info/help would be appreciated.

There was a pic a while back of a leegeddy cable that had a ra bnc

I need one of these as well - I have an adaptor, but I do not like adaptors

probably doesn't help much :)

Markertek sells em.  I have used the TecNec right angle version of the connector shown here when making a RA bnc>RA RCA coax cable:

It is solderless, but you'll need a crimping tool.

They also sell a no-name version which looks like the one leegeddy had on that cable you mention:

anyone have any suggestions for a bnc (2x) -> 1/8" stereo cable?  I'd prefer RA's but I'd take anything I can get.  I have bnc -> XLR, and bnc -> RCA cables, but with a R1 on the way, I need something that terminates in 1/8" stereo.  Should I just use BNC -> RCA adapters, and then a decent RCA-> 1/8" stereo cable?  Sorry for the threadjack!

Does anyone know what cable he used to make that?  The 2 bnc cables I have all ready are made with canare LV 61s.  Also, what 1/8" stereo plug is that (anyone know?)

Don't know about the cable but the plug is probably a Canare F12.
