You should get an active bar and just use one of these!

I'm aware of the Shapeways bars etc...I need to look again. I'm planning to run the MK41 actives with the U89's 4 channel - Ive just envisioned it a bit different
Thank you - checking out this evening

I use these for my MBHO actives. The holder grabs on to the mini XLR connector with just enough room to get it to stay in there. These were designed for the LEMO connector on the CCM series - as pictured in your link. It's too big for the nipple on the collette and the other side of the holder would just have the cable laying in it. They are actually a little bigger than they look. The base is a couple of inches high as well so the whole thing is about 3.5 inches high. I really like them for the HOs.
I use a Vark bar, nBob SGC clips and a riser in a A20 shockmount for my MK41s.
I could take a picture of both of my setups side by side if you need some help visualizing what I'm saying here.

The SRS bars are the only way to fly...light, durable, and inexpensive.

Goodcooker...love to check those pics. Right now I am looking at the small Schoeps clips on a Vark...I removed the post and mounted the bar to a rycote shock made for small recorders

Here are those pics. I like the ability to point the mk41s with the clips on a bar. Having a fixed angle bar is convenient but I find myself adding a larger spread and a smaller angle than the DINa config that most people use for hypers.

OK...so in the upper pic, the INV-2 is actually clipped to your mini-XLR coming out of the Ho cap? That would def be bigger than the 41 NBOB connector...
