Title: Tascam DA3000 and Sony PCM D/100
Post by: birdboy01 on June 03, 2015, 01:40:01 PM
Anyone else have this box and what are use cases?

I bought it to replace my old creaky Masterlink. http://tascam.com/product/da-3000/
Its a great recorder/player rig that supports 24-bit,  192 kHz PCM, and DSD at the standard 2.8 MHz (64X) and “double speed” 5.6 MHz  (although you'll need SDIFF DSD digital input/output via BNC for the latter)
Supports SDHC and CF media with backup to USB flash.

Note of caution: Renders only WAV BWF which is not supported by most consumer players (like my Oppo BDP-105 -arrgh!)
