How is the quality of the Tascam DR 03, line in only?
« on: December 28, 2010, 10:31:40 PM »
I realise it's cheap, and you get what you pay for and all that.

But, ignoring the internal mics and preamps, anyone know how it sounds when fed a line level signal?

Compared to H2/R-09/DR07/DR08 etc.

Thanks.

Paging faninor, he's got the DR-03 as well as the DR-07, and should be able to make a comparison for you:

I send a question to my support contact at Tascam, to clarify if the input stage of the DR/PR/VR models differ hardware-wise.
Stay tuned...
