On a whim..., and as its been over a year w/the same gear (taboo)...
I traded my Odyssey monoblocks in an even swap for a Manley Stingray integrated with all NOS Amperex/Mullard tubes.

wow.

night and day.
the Stratos had mucho power, and were fast with it.  Dynamic as all hell.
The Manley is silk.  Pure silk.  some of the GD shows that I thought were bright sound sooooo right through the tubes.
I'm totally stoked w/the bass output though.  way fat.  And the 50wpc drives my Tyler's quite nicely.  I can crank it up pretty loud before the amp starts to strain.

I still have my Dared preamp for sale if anyone is interested.  its in the YS.
