I'm thinking of buying this camcorder.
Just wondering if someone who owns this camcorder could offer some input? Is it worth the price? For concert use how does the internal mic sound?
Does it do well in low light? I cant seem to find many videos on Youtube about this camcorder.
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere....

i dont own this specific camera but i own similar ones.
This camera should be fine, internal mics will never sound excellent and will sound bad at very loud concerts.
You are better off getting a camera like the TM900, TM700, sdt750 all these have mic inputs
or you can get an SD800 or SD600

The Panasonic FZ150 would be a camera for around $400 that offers mic input

I got this cam!

Check out a few samples here: http://www.youtube.com/blubbaiu (Hatebreed, While She Sleeps, Asking Alexandria only)
And here: http://www.youtube.com/bizkitlivechannel (only the Black Light Burns videos)

All have external audio though. If you put on AGC and -30dB the cam audio is acceptable for those who don't have high expectations at audios (I don't belong to these people hence the external audio)

I have been using manual settings all the time and I can say that this is pretty much the best cam if you want to record shows the way it was at the show and not maximum quality like the 3MOS models by Panasonic. You see especially at the Black Light Burns Frankfurt videos that the show was very dark, but at Asking Alexandria you see how this cam performs with more lights.

So, make yourself a decision between quality how it was at the show and maximum quality, if you want the latter, go with the 3MOS models, if you want the way it was at the show, go with the V700

Also check out this channel for more samples with better lights:
