Sony PCMd1 pcm-d1 memory stick problems
« on: January 19, 2011, 09:24:33 PM »
I tried a Sandisk 4gb memory stick that was listed on Full Compass System as suppose to work with the PCMd-1.  it works at 44.1 and 48k but stutters at 96k.

I suppose I need a Sony stick.  Does anyone know of a 4gb stick that will work that can be bought now somewhere?  A link would help.

I cannot find the ones listed on the Sony website for sale anywhere.

THANKS in advance.

Sorry, not may D1 users here, so I doubt you'll get much first hand advice.

According to Sony, the official recommended 4Gb card has the part number MSEX4GD.
Here's a few selling it, although at cutthroat prices:
http://www.google.com/search?q=MSEX4GD&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:sv-SE:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbo=u&tbs=shop:1&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wf&biw=1280&bih=836

If you google-shop on the model name printed on the actual card, you might find more hits.
