I ordered it then got an email from best tronics saying its not an audio cable, do I want it.
So what is this than? It's listed under the microphone section.
Thanks

"Audio, Control, and Instrument Cable" (http://www.fullcompass.com/product/278224.html?utm_source=googleps&utm_medium=shopping&utm_campaign=googleps&gclid=CNO2uofbsLwCFY57QgodIDsAIg)
Seems like it would work fine. What's the intended application?

For taping as mic cables or for board feeds

2 conductor, twisted pair with foil shield and drain wire.
Good choice for an install, but foil shield doesn't hold up particularly well upon repeated coiling and uncoiling.
Look for something with a braided shield. Mogami makes nice thin mic cable, as does Belden.

I don't claim to be an expert of audio cables, but I don't think you'll be happy with cable. It appears to have a stiff outer jacket (not unlike milspec) and foil shield, whereas copper shields are generally preferred for mic cables.
I think this cable (http://best-tronics.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=BMI&Product_Code=CA-0484&Category_Code=MICROPHONE) would be much better for your application. I've used it before and it's good stuff.
