If it's worth getting off the couch, it's worth taping!

Yes, he can! I'm using this exact cable from Ed to hook my iPod to my car's line-in jack. It's great!

Hosa is a major manufacturer.

Best bet is to get one of your TS.com brothers to build you a custom lenth cable with Neutrik or Switchcraft ends.....  One caveat about Switchcraft ends,  the ends are too big to fit some gear, if spacing is even close to tight.

My CA-9100 came today and I realised that stupidly, I'd forgotten to buy a patch cable to hook it up to my R-1 ::) Would anyone be able to make one similar to the one shown below for me too?

Hey all...I was in a bind and couldn't afford the cable I really wanted to have made...so I called up good 'ol sound professionals and described a cable that I was looking for.  They were kind enough to make one custom for me for 20 bucks.  They were also kind enough to actually enter it into their system as a new product.

The code for it is:  SP-HEC-4

Mine was a 2' cable with gold tipped neutrik RAs on both ends.  I believe you can also request varying lengths of cables for various fees too.

Heres the link:
http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/item/SP-HEC-4

Anyway, I thought this would help out some other folks who needed a simlilar cable.  ::)

Thanks for the tip Ryan! Just to confirm - does that Sound Pros cable have 1/4" or 1/8" connectors?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, you don't have to get UPS ground shipping.  I had them send mine in an envelope via first class and the postage was only a couple bucks.

I'm in the UK, so my postage costs will be a little more than that ;)
