NEED: Recomendations on Stealthy pre-amp w/ low cut filter

looking to have better levels and crispy sound in bigger venues. need something stealthy that will fit in my pocket or hook on my belt. not sure of names or what they look like. inform me would be nice. i can't afford the $1000 Sonic Studios preamp i really want. something in the range of $300 used would be nice.

let i know what models/sizes are best for stealthing. if there is something in the yard sale or e-bay.

I'd recommend the trusty EAA PSP2. I wish I still had mine.

You can get a used mp-2 for around $375-$400.

hows about the ps2/ad20 combo, that should provide enuf gain and a decent a/d stage :)

a/d converter doesn't do the i any good. Neuros only has a line-in, no o/i.
