I manage a new psychedelic rock band in Gainesville, FL and have been getting really mediocre sound quality when trying to record the music live. I've recently also purchased two -40db attenuators for the mic inputs so I can do 4ch mode using the soundboard outputs. It helped a little but still not very good quality.

I also seem to have issues getting quality recordings in stereo mode from our practice space, wondering if the band volume is too loud in the room or if there is a setting on the recorder that I'm missing???

Any suggestions on how to improve the quality would be much appreciated!
