Topic: Mics solution in a headband or hat?

Besides filming concerts, I'm also audio recording them as back-up at the same time. Therefore I have three mics to deal with - one (a Sony ECM719) linked to the camcorder (a simple clip-on job) and a pair of cardioids connected to my Sony PCM M10. The M10 slips into a pocket but the mics are fiddly because, although I can clip the 719 out of harm's way, it's harder to find a place to clip the two cardioids without the risk of brushing against them during the show as I move the camcorder to get shots. I just want to get them out of my way but still in the way of the concert, so to speak!

So I'm wondering if there's a headband or baseball cap designed to take a pair of mics that I can employ? A solution that includes somewhere for the recorder to go too would be even better but let's stay realistic! Thanks for any tips!

This hat looks like an interesting solution - but a question about how mic performance is affected...

The picture of the front of the hat with the mics installed appears to show the "face" of the mics flush with the outer face of the grommet.

It's my understanding that the openings on the sides of the mic capsules are important for the mics to be able to perform properly. Does covering them up with something as solid as the grommets diminish their ability to achieve the correct polar pattern?

Not sure how hidden you need to be but IMO that hat with mics would be incredibly obvious.
