Title: Great deal or too good to be true?

Can something this small really do 15,000 mAh?

No experience with that one, but I picked up one of these Jackery batteries that's listed as 12000 mAh and it can run my USB Pre 2 for a LONG time. Haven't done a run to empty test yet but been very happy with it so far. Anker seems to have a decent reputation.

15000 mAh is probably the cell rating not the 5V Ah rating

Probably uses 4 x ~3V cells to get ~7V with a dc-dc step down conveter to get the 5V

Something like 4 of these

Hm.
That's one of the batteries I am looking at right now. Has to have a high amperage: 5v / 2.5a output for the Korg MR1, and has to be pocket-sized.
I haven't tried it yet, though. spyder9 posted that he's using this one:

which is the smaller one from the same company. It doesn't have the specs, so I doubt it has the output power.

Ridiculous as it sounds, I'm looking at this one, too:

But that's HUGELY expensive and small, but not light.

I have a rav power I got from amazon
It's only 10k mah but about the size of a wallet
Runs my dr60d for like 9hrs
The ankers have crazy good reviews for almost every product too, I wouldn't doubt its 15 in that size
