Topic: connecting v2>mme combo

i don't think i'm doing something right, or i don't have the correct cables to connect the two together.  I need to be running xlr in and out correct.

To set this combo up, it would be: XLR female from the mic into XLR male on the input of the V2. From there you can either go the XLR, or RCA route out of the V2. The first would be XLR female out of the V2 outs, into the XLR male analog inputs of the Mini Me. The second would be male RCA out of the V2 to Male XLR in on the Mini Me. This would, of course, require XLR > RCA cables.

ok that is what i thought.  Now just need to figure out the calabration part.  Do i want to turn the cal/pots all the way down on the mme.  Right now i'm flashing 12 on the mme and +16 on the V2

No, turn the purple knobs all the way down. To run line-in on the Mini Me, you want to turn the purple knobs all the way down to the left until they click into the off, or line position. Then from there you set the V2 to the desired gain, and adjust the small, screwdriver calpots accordingly to calibrate the Mini Me to the V2. Have you found the instructions for calibrating a preamp to an A/D converter on SonicSense's website?

yeah i found that.  That makes things a lot clearer not just need to get a signal to my dat or my laptop.  Not getting anything for some reason.

From what I remember, your v2 should start blinking red as soon as your deck hits -8.

Are you using the S/PDIF output of the Mini Me? Do you have an active cable? Have you got the bit depth and sample rate set accordingly?

spdif out of the mme running 16/48 not sure if that is right or not.  I'm using the same cable i have been using with my mme

ok my deck is getting a signal but i'm not getting any lights on the v2 gain 30 and trim +10  mme flashing at 12.  I think i got everything except the calabration.  I moved the cal pots so my deck was reading 6 but i'm still not getting anything from the v2
