Power options for ad2k+ (besides lead-acid batteries) ?
« on: May 29, 2006, 11:48:31 PM »
Hi,

Can anyone recommend a power solution for the ad2k besides an sla battery?

I know there has to be plenty of lithium-ion batteries out there that will work for this application (just wondering which ones would be best).

If anyone here can point me to a specific model number of a battery that you have direct experience using with your ad2k that would be great.

Thanks in advance for any replies. -John

Cheap, small, safe, and LIGHTWEIGHT!!!!  As far as I'm concerned, the ONLY way to go.

You'd need to have the cable made but that's pretty cheap, and there are several people on here that do this kind of work.

AD2K draws about 1amp, and this is a 4200mah pack.  3-4 hours.
