Topic: Glitch problems after converting DAT>wav

I am getting glitches on my wav file after converting from DAT.  These are not audible on the master DAT and they are on both channels at the exact same point throughout the wav.  I would post a shot there but I am an idiot and can't fiigure out how to convert stuff to jpeg.  To convert I go D8>optical>Egosys U2A>Soundforge 5.0  I recetly upgraded to XP and I also have 98 on my hardrive.  I used to run ME and this was never a problem.  I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with the 2 operating systems but I am really at a loose and I am frustrated.  If somebody can email me off line I can send you a screen shot of what it looks like.  If wombody can help me out with this I would gladly apprciate it and I'll be happy to send you the Gov't Mule show from last night in Philly as thanks.
