There's a user review at Newegg saying it died after 3 weeks...and a few warning signs.

I think I'll stick to Lexar and San Disk!   ::)

Starting 1/24/08, Frys.com is offering a PQI 8GB SDHC class 6 card for $35, with free shipping.  There's a $10 mail-in rebate, so final price is $25!

I've been using this in my R-09 for the past month and I've never had a problem.  Only problem I had with it was that it got unstable after trying to format it on the old firmware (it's an 8 gig card).  I sorta got it working but I eventually exchanged it and told them it was "defective" and I was able to talk him into giving me a new card (he said he'd do it "just this once").  I recorded the headliners at the Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival this year and never once had a problem.  Bit depth/sample rate was 24/44.1
Portable 2 track:
Sennheiser MKE2 (HRTF) > Edirol R-09

Studio Projects C4 (ORTF)/FOH Feed > Edirol R4

FOH:
Mackie 1604 VLZ Pro > dbx 215 Graphic EQ > Behringer PMX2000 (Power Amp Section) > Behringer B1220 Mains

Multitrack:
Mackie 1604 VLZ Pro > Tascam DA-38 w/Burr Brown Op-amps

Out:
M-Audio Fast Track Pro > Mackie 1604 VLZ Pro > ESI nEar05 nearfields OR AKG K99 Headphones

My sister in law gave me one of these last xmas for secret Santa. I've run it up to 24/96 no problem. I format all my cards on the computer though, using /a:32k /a:64k switch.

In case anyone is interested:

Stay away from that brand  ::)

A-Data are very slow, but *much* cheaper, at least where I am. I have not had trouble finding cheap SD cards, but for Compact Flash, A-Data are very tempting.  I've used 4GB A-Data in the Fostex FR-2LE (24/44.1) with no problems.  Probably slower on uploading, but seem OK for the price.
