Tinybox for MBHO

I am curious if any of these were ever made.  Does anyone know if there are Tinyboxes out there that can run MBHOs without the bodies?

Jon-

Curious how the MBHO's terminate into the box. I know MBHO sells the capsule attachment, then is it just a single stereo mini XLR into the TB?  How many of these were made approximately?  I know it will probably be impossible to find a used one.  I wish I had know about this a few years back when these were in production.  Might have to throw an ISO up in the YS..

Thanks,
Jesse

MBHOs use mini-XLR connectors, so there was either an adaptor to the MBHO cable, or the adaptor would run the full length to the capsule.  I don't remember how many were made, maybe half a dozen.

I am still kicking myself for not ordering one....

It took me two months to sell out the last batch of seven boxes . . . they weren't exactly flying off the shelves.  If the closeout sale is half of peak demand, there you go.

The market got saturated with tinys, then you have people looking for "upgrades".  Not enough business left to keep the parts on hand; tiny was not a high margin product.  I will pretty much guarantee the parts cost of a tiny is higher than any of the other "active" boxes on the market.  So when I cut the price and they don't move, they were doomed.

Maybe active amplifiers have positive demand elasticity and I wasn't smart enough to figure that out.

Take this as a compliment... there is probably 200+ smd components on a tinybox pcb. It's crazy how densely packed that pcb is and I'm sure assembly time is quite lengthy for each box. You're absolutely nuts for selling them as cheaply as you did (but we all love you for it!).
