Betsy open baffles/set amp

These r Betsy open baffle flat pack. Drivers r Decware modded Fostex 8" 206en's which were freebee's. Rubbed down with tung oil to even out the finish and make the grain pop. The open baffles are not the best way to use the fostex's, but was semi cheap and easy. The fostex's r easy to drive. A SET amp will give nice low to medium listening levels. Add a sub for full range sound. Fun DIY speaker project. Ed

I haven't heard of Betsys in a good many years.
this is a good site; not sure if they're still current/active in sales or not. But it is where I first heard of Betsy Open Baffles

Here's a bad pic of a SET amp kit I put together years ago. About 1.5 WPC. Drives the drivers OK but open baffle design would definitely benefit with more power
