New Setup
« on: May 05, 2008, 09:20:58 AM »
Well thanks to the government (actually I should probably thank China for loaning us the money) and my tax rebate check I went and did a couple of upgrades to my home theater setup.  Got rid of my Onkyo receiver and got a Yamaha RX-V663 and a new stand.  Check it out:

I still have some wiring cleanup to do, but I'm waiting for my HDMI switch to come in before I do that.

you have sony speakers, John?  I thought you were to sony what the terminator is to humanity.
One shortcut to all this BS is simply to let anyone buy into the Medacare Program for $300 a month.

Medacare is already set up, already has covered surgeries and procedures, and other than allowing Medacare to bargain collectively with Drug Companies, it is an off the shelf program.

exactly, so why do we need a new bill?

Nah, never really was anti-Sony.  Just pro-HD-DVD.  And that didn't really work out for me. ;)

The speakers I got back when I worked at Best Buy, before they started carrying Klipsch.  Those speakers were selling for $399 a piece and I got them for $150 for the pair.  Couldn't really pass that up. ;D
