Title: Panasonic X920 need opinions
Post by: AdamHuston on April 19, 2015, 11:05:18 PM
Have the opportunity to grab one of these from a friend and am wanting some neutral parties input regarding it.  I have mainly always done only audio recording but in the last 6 months I've been thinking about getting a camcorder.  The video I've shot at shows before now has been done using a Panasonic digital camera that was just mounted to my mic stand.  Very low pro.  Now that I have the funds I'd like to invest in a camcorder.  Anyways a X920 that's used has been offered to me for a very fair price.  I've seen this in action before and the results it produces in lower light venues.  My gut is telling me to snag it before it goes to a different home.  What do you guys think about the X920 and its specs?

Never used it,but im sure it's great.I don't see anything in the specs that raises any red flags.Just make sure you get the biggest battery. They have some used on BH for between $650-$700.

Well my buddy is offering his to me for $500 with multiple batteries.  I'm gonna jump on it.  Didn't expect to buy one but it seems like a good camcorder to me and I've seen it in action multiple times at shows.  I like that you can use an app on your phone to control it also.
