Hi, Bob of Bob and Melanie, we have two cannon gl2 mdv camcorders, we have two vid. mixers, a Panasonic wg-av7, and a videonics mx1, def. old school. Rather then spending lots of money to replace these camcorders with H D we use them in the 16/9 format, unfortunatlly the mixers won't give us 16/9 output, are there some reasonably priced mixers that accept firewire inputs? We could use s-vhs inputs as well if the wide screen output is there.I realize most mixing is done in post production on computers but we really need a mixer for field work, does't need to be battery drive, we usually have A.C. Any help or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks Bob
