Question about Sont MD Walkman MZ-E500
« on: September 06, 2014, 07:45:18 AM »
Hi all,

I have a spare MD recorder which I can't use at the moment, the model is Sony MD Walkman MZ-E500, I've found this recorder while cleaning my attic. I have a few MD's around with concerts that I'd like to transfer.

My question: I've lost the power supply. How can I make this thing run again? Is there a large battery that I can use with this? I'm needing this device only for a few hours.

Thanks for the help!

Thierry

There is a user manual here (in French), it appears as if you need the add on dry cell adapter, the mains PSU (1.5 V) plugs into that.
