Oktava Fig 8 capsule for the MK-012 body
« on: October 27, 2015, 11:46:16 AM »
Hello,

Does anyone here tested the new fig8 capsule (not the t-shaped cardioid adapter) for the MK-012 preamp body already?
Any thoughts about it, noise floor, etc? Thinking about going that way to do MS stereo.

Judging from pictures, it seems like another t-adapter, not a 'real' fig.8 capsule.

Is quite a wide capsule and not a real fugure of 8, which make your microphoen a bit too heavy.
Is a good solution for small budgets though.
Sound good, if already like Oktava's sound.
