jb3 ?'s (remote + battery cycling)
« on: September 15, 2003, 10:49:13 AM »
i was looking around, and lately there have been several remotes on ebay...

would you be able to start an optical recording with the remote. no one seems to be able to answer it, not even the person selling them on ebay

how did everyone cycle thier batteries? or did you? i figured, that if they are like anything else, they will be better after a few complete cycles. i have completed 2 complete cycles with mine, with both batteries inside. the only way i found was transfering audio to it, and just repeatedly playing the album, which took a few days, just randomly playing the album when i remembered. but now i am going to put a ton of audio and transfer it to one album on the jb3, so it will play for a long time with one little effort

anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

i guess these lithium ion batterys dont need the cycling thing like all the other batteries iv been used to

read up alot on them, and learned alot.

better to just top off the battery occasionally rather than drain fully and recharge....
