You might want to check with your neighbors.  Mine all have big lengths of coax running to nearby poles..

I'd recommend using stranded center conductor coax cable, not solid core center conductor coax cable which is more typical.  The stranded core is more flexible and should withstand the type of multiple cable flexing we see in the field better than solid core cable.

Something like the Canare LV-61S, L-3C2VS, or L-1.5C2VS.  I've used the latter two ones for a number of digi cables.  You should be able to pick them up from markertek.com.
Mics: Microtech Gefell m20/m21 (nbob/pfa actives), Line Audio CM3, Church CA-11 cards
Preamp:  none <sniff>

Something like the Canare LV-61S,

dumb question coming ;)

that is what I bought.  rated 75 so it's good for what we do.

now the dumb question.  I'm looking at the catalog and see it's listed as "analog coax cable" instead of digital.  so what's the difference??

hey Gordon, you may have figured out where to get it by now, but here in NYC Sam Ash has a GREAT selection of all flavors of raw cable. Granted the NYC Sam Ash is slot larger than most neighborhood locations, but it may be worth a try. Also, you may be able to order from them on-line. Worth a shot...

I've got some kicking around (good stuff, silver 19 strand center) and will send you some (free) if you want.
I can prob spare a few feet.
