Topic: Radio Shack condenser microphone element

I was looking into this DIY build your own mic project, but I think I picked up the wrong mic element. The one I got has three wires and the ones I've read about use the two wires. This is the link: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062216 My question, can this still be soldered to the headphone wires and if not, what would I need to complete the project?
