DIY Cable Question
« on: November 06, 2003, 04:50:50 PM »
Everyone:

I'm getting ready to build my first cables, and I have what's probably a stupid question:

When using quad cable, are you just tying two conductors together each to make the two required, then continuing to use the shield as the third?

That seems like the only logical way to do it, but I'd sure love to hear if that's what everyone else is doing before I get started.

Tks in advance.

here are a couple of EXCELLENT links:

http://www.recordingeq.com/EQ/req0400/cords.htm

http://www.taperssection.com/yabbse/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=2069

those sites certainly helped me out a lot when I was making my cables.  I'm sure you'll find them helpfull as well.

edit to say: nevermind, you've already got your cables done.  but if you need a good reference for the future :)
