Topic: r4 powering questions

I've heard that r4's have reverse polarity on the dc power supply, mine just arrived and the seller forgot to include the wallwart for the recorder.  Just wanted to check and make sure before I plug my dvd battery into this thing and blow an internal fuse or something.

am I making this up or should I borrow a rig to tape tonight and wait until I can locate the right charger or battery or whatever.

nm, found the battery packs that were sent with the unit have the tips reversed on them.
