All the discountinued models are the ones they were having made in China. I wonder if they decided to stop producing in that country. All the models they currently list are hand assembled in California.

they were up on the VS site a couple weeks ago now they are gone. :O

i bet they do.

if you are local to New England, Janka here on the section has a sweet pair of stands for his vr1's, which he no longer owns.  i'm sure he'd let em go.

Yes, I sure would. They are Target Audio HR-60's, not the actual VSA stands. My VR-1's did fit them perfectly though.  http://www.targethifi.co.uk/4598/4790.html

All of these models are still available at www.NewForHalf.com. These are apparently the last new stock available at liquidation prices. And, this same seller has been advertising on Audiogon.com and Ebay.com.

good prices.  $1499 for VR2's.  thats a super deal on a reference quality full range speaker.
