Ha!
I'm trying to find a way to use 2 acmV3 units, but so far that looks like it will be REALLY expensive.
The smallest thing seems to be the Sound Devices 633, which is way too much unit for what I'm trying to do.
Right now I think I can run each V3 into a PMD661, then RCA > XLR those out to an R44. Its a LOT of gear, but once you haul in 2 V3s with batteries, its a backbreaker anyway.

Might you consider running one v3 into the digi in (along with time code) and the other v3 analog out into the analog xlr inputs in the 744?

Id ask grace to see if they can mod one of your v3’s to replace the SPDIF with a WC in. - then you could chain it all together and use the V3 with only a WC out as the master clock

Or even replace the WC out with a WC in and have the 744 lock off aes
