Editing out wind?
« on: July 05, 2015, 01:18:06 PM »
Great Wilco show in Scottsdale. But after zero wind caught the edge of a storm and way too much wind for the dpa screens. Figured no way to do this but otherwise the show isn't listenable. Thx, Marc

So Billy asked whether he should dither down to 16 bit and dl level 8 flac, or just leave at 24 bit?

Get some dead rats for those DPA screens. Should solve the problem for future shows.

Had rats in the bag, rookie mistake, there was zero wind all night and then 25-35 out of nowhere, I've never had that happen in AZ before, only Colorado. By the time I realized how bad it was too late. Never outdoors without running rats or omnis. Had them both in the bag.
