ATTN: Pro Tools users

Copied from a post on Digi-Panic by Frank Rinaldi

"I need to make one shameless plug here and will go back to lurking.  I had the opportunity to chat at length with John Keane this weekend at the aforementioned Tape Op Conference which was a huge honor for me as he has always been one of my "recording heroes".  Anyway, John has just written a book called "A Musician's Guide to Pro Tools".   I highly recommend this
resource to anyone who is a Pro Tools user, its very well written, concise, and really takes you through the program like no other book or manual I've seen for this program.  Anyone who has used Pro Tools knows that it can be very intimidating and frustrating.  This book makes it very easy. I've already had 3 of my Pro Tools-using friends buy one.

John told me the reason he wrote the book was because all his "musician friends"  kept calling him from the road at all hours asking him technical questions so he just started making notes to give them (since the questions were the same over and over) when they called.  Then one day it struck him that he had enough to outline a book and it went from there.   You can order
a copy from us:

or from John's site (which is VERY COOL to check out)

He is really working hard to promote this book, please pass this on to anyone you know who is a Pro Tools user.

Thanks!
Frank
