I run a Lunatec V3 and the Marantz PMD-671 off of a single EC-90 battery and works fine, but if you have 2 bands or a really long show (3 sets) it comes close to running low on battery. I keep a back-up AA set of batteries to run the Marantz if I get too close. It's the Marantz that sucks the power... a V3 will last 3 shows on a fully charged Eco-Charge 90 battery.

I also run a V3 and 671 off an ec90.. I have run both for 4+ hrs.. I have a set of charged energizers in the internal battery holder - but I prefer to run off the external source..   try not to use the display backlight and I only use headphones in the beginning.. honestly the meters are so good on both units I probably could leave the phones at home...

Here is the loot.
I can make 5 of these.

chargers / cables are all brand new, unopened box items.
batteries are used, but take and hold a charge.  I've run each through several cycles and all good thus far.
Pictures show the dimensions compared to other options in this voltage range.

these suckers are 10.8v (11v fully charged) and 5600mAh.
I can start taking orders if anyone wants one.

well, this is not as much juice as that, but then again, your battery weighs 7lbs.

for those of you who power the 671 externally: is the polarity reversed, like on the UA-5? i know i saw it posted in one of these 671 threads but couldn't find it.

i plan on running some tests in a bit, but those who know: if i am using a power runner l-ion with the voltage set to 9-12v, will the 671 shut down when the voltage decreases to a certain level?
