shortening my headphone line
« on: July 13, 2010, 09:15:21 PM »
it's much longer than it needs to be, about 15 feet actually. just some cheap sennheisers I got, but they havent blown on me yet like many other cheap pairs have. can I just cut out a section and reattach the wires? the wire itself Is stereo, and I wanted to build a dual RCA --> stereo mini interconnect with the excess. is this something I can easily do?

thanks neil, I trimmed the cord down to 8 feet, and wrapped it in techflex wrap (I think it's the F6 type?) it doesnt tangle that easy now and its an appropriate length. On to cable making!

thanks
