Malasia Sony CD-Rs?
« on: September 11, 2006, 06:21:38 PM »
Picked up a couple spindles of Sony 700MB CD-Rs and they are made in Malasia...never heard of Malasian CDs but they are the "yellow/greenish" dye so I assume they're the same as Tiwaan ones.  Anybody know how these are?  I'm just using them for my own listening CDs and not archiving anything important on them but was just curious as I've only known about Japan vs Tiawaan dyes before.
Big Rig:  SMK-H8K/U or MSH-1O > PS-2 > AD-20 > CJB3
Sm Rig:  SS DSM-6S (or SP-CMC-12 > SPBM-2)  > MD-MT77
ISO: Cheap iRiver 120 or 140 :)

if u barely scratch the TOP of the cd - the foil (with the data) gets scratched and it destroys the cd
