Title: SV-3700 hour count?

Found a good price on an SV-3700 but I may need to help the seller figure out how to do an hour count on the machine. Can't seem to find a manual or any info anywhere on the net. Any kind owners willing to help me out, and take the strain off my poor D8 once and for all? ;D

here is info about how to access the test modes from the 3800.  it will also work with the 3700.  if it is in the $300 range and has low hours....BUY IT!!!!!!

Thanks! +T I'm waiting to hear back from the seller...she said it had "less than %10 hours on it". Of course, I'm wondering if that's less than 10 or less than 510 and her finger slipped. ARGH! If it'd been !10 or @10 I'd jump on it...but %10 is starting to get up there. ;)

FWIW....500 hours still is pretty low for the Panasonic decks.  with regular manual head cleanings you should be able to get 4k-5k hours.

think INDUSTRY STANDARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   ;D

Good point. And thanks for the approximate $ figure...it had a 'buy it now' of half that and is shipping tomorrow. Woohoo!

I am under the impression that the 3700 has an actual hour meter on the backside of the deck - which goes to 5000 hours.  It is not an exact meter, but has the major denominations noted to give an *idea* of hours on the heads.

If it is 510, you got a great deck, as that is 10% (not 105!) of the expected life of the heads.

Here's a confirmation on 3700/3800's.
I have two with nearly 5000 hours on each.
I have taken one out of commission due to gear troubles but the 3800 is still kickin'.  Biting occassionally, likes to be cleaned more often than it used to but still serving.

500 hours is a low use machine, as previously mentioned.
