Title: Permanently Boosting Right Channel of CA-11 Using Ugly 2 Preamp Trimmers?
Post by: rockphantom on June 01, 2017, 04:55:53 PM
I've noticed that the left channel of my CA-11 card mics is stronger than the right channel by about 2db.
I use the Ugly 2 preamp in tandem with this mic.
How could I use the miniaturized trimmers on the Ugly 2 to permanently boost the right channel by 2db?
Do I need to use a Phillips screwdriver to turn the right trimmer, clockwise by a certain amount?

Guidance would be appreciated as I am going to tape a big rock show tomorrow night.

Thank you!

You want to lower the higher gain channel.First make sure both miniature gain pots are fully clockwise and than lower the louder channel until more even

Thanks for the advice. How do I lower the channel gain? Twist the gain pot counter clock wise?
