4 pin mini female XLR to 5 pin mini XLR cables!
« on: September 22, 2010, 06:33:25 PM »
Hi all!

I´m looking for a set of good quality cables with the following  specifications:

4 pin female mini XLR (*) to 5 pin female mini XLR (**) and about 3-4 feet (90-120 cm) long.
Basically a set of shorter cables that I can run between the Beyerdynamics CK930 caps and the CV 900 bodies instead of the 10 ft standard cables that come with the set.

Could anyone here point me to where I can buy such cables or if they have to be custom made, if so is there any cable wizard here at TS that could make a pair and sell me!  ;D

Thanks!
Nicegrin

Agree. Rob did mine, but Ted's willing as far as I know, just send him the pin out info.

Why beyer did a pin mismatch when its not used is beyond me...

I have had two sets of these cables made for my CK930's (in addition to the 10 ft set that comes with them).  Robb made me one set (5ft), and HAVE made the other (20ft).  Both did great work.  The Belden 1804a cable works very well for this.  My 20 ft set (from HAVE) is with the Belden 1804a and it's great.
