AT actives?
« on: October 27, 2017, 03:46:30 PM »
This is more out of curiosity than anything else, but can the AT caps (not the mini 853/943 size caps but larger like the 4051) be run in an active setup like people do with Schoeps, AKGs, etc?
Mics: Core Sound TetraMic | AT4031s | Countryman B3s | CA-14 omnis | AT853 cards | AKG 460/ck61 | Studio Projects CS5
Decks: Zoom F4 | Roland R-05

I would also like to know the answer to this, in particular for the 405x series.

The short answer is yes. See here ---> http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=168809.msg2238231#msg2238231  . My advise would to contact Jon directly and offer a body + capsule on loan so everything can be measured.
