New Church Audio large capsule mic announced

"Developing a new mic it will be a full sized balanced mic. A larger version of the ca14 but with a much larger capsule. And removable windscreen. The eta for this mic is about 6 months. I will let you know how it is progressing when I get started. I have the capsules I want to use ( that’s half the battle )"

"It will be a 1 inch capsule. That is cardioid. Much like the ca14 capsule except much larger and flatter frequency response."

I wonder what the odds are for the over/under...

One inch (25.4 mm) is pretty big, if they will be end-addressed.  By contrast, DPA caps are 19 mm and Schoeps are 20 mm.
